Data extraction from the eMR is often a tedious and complex process. Extracting eMR data enables your organisation to do data migration into other eMR systems or importation into external data warehouses to perform further analytics.
Standard Extract Approach
PX Innovations uses a unique approach to data extraction. This approach enables more data to be extracted in a shorter period of time. This is important, especially in a PRODUCTION environment where resources are limited. Raw data is extracted in a useable format, with the addition of all appropriate keys that enable an external system to link the data.
Extraction
Performed as a once off history extract followed by optional ongoing operational jobs that run on a client defined frequency
Loading
The final step involves loading the raw data into a new database, data warehouse, or another system for further use, such as analysis, reporting, or integration with other systems.
